Standing strong

​

I took this picture when I was looking for dears. I was walking very quietly in the 2/3 meters high grass. 

At some point, I hear a sound on my right, this is when I see the head of a doe, protruding from the grass. Then I spot another one 5 meters on its left, and another one... I am now surrounded by 5/6 does !

My pulse starts to increase but I remain calm and take some pictures. However, at some point i hear a louder noise on my left and I see a large stag, 10 meters away followed by 3/4 females walking right towards me.

I walk fast the other way to make sure it does not feel threaten and does not attack me.

When it stops, I start taking pictures again, I tried getting closer but every time, the stag was pressuring me to stand back by looking at me and getting closer.

I made sure to stay back !

Then the stag turned his back on me. I aimed my camera at him and took some pictures. 

​

At this moment I felt like this stag was a real symbol of strength and self-confidence.

​

I was aiming at him something which could be a weapon, he new I was there, but still decided to turn his back on me. He was so confident in himself that he did not even doubt the risk of the situation. 

​

This picture is here to convey they idea to be as confident as this stag, looking at the future, confident that the past will never hurt you.
